TransAm Trucking, Inc. - Olathe, Ks.?

Its been a week, and its an interesting change. I hope this is coherent I havent had a load less than a 1000 miles. My only complaint is I really had to fight to get my inverter put in so I could sleep, which caused me to leave late/arrive late. Besides that I get left alone. I have 3600 miles for the week once this load gets dropped on Thursday. So if you want to run TransAm is a good place, 500hp detroit + automagic = easy day. They have Vorad, which is retarded, while its good there should be a way to turn it down. For those that don't know Vorad is basically radar and it makes me keep a long following distance. So no drafting for me, normally I run FD or BD.

If you get onto the lease program remember this, a T600 is really small inside. I got enough room in my columbia I set up a casino. I was in a T600 and felt really cramped. So a T600 = no room, an engine with TWO turbos that could break, and about $10k more to buy it after your lease.

Just another update, I have been running like a mad man. And thats good. 3500 miles just last week and this week is looking good too. I have a good dispatcher, and the thing I really like is that I have a preplan, for example today when I was going to broken bow I knew I had a load waiting for me in lexington. Because my satielliete didnt work way out here I went ahead and made my way down to lexington. Picked up my load, and was out of the gate in 15 minutes. And yes I still love my automatic.

 

I was with Schneider specialized, which got bought my Maverick Specialized. They wanted to slap Maverick on the side of the trucks but not give me anything like the regular Maverick drivers had, so I left, I had a friend who works for TransAm. I was out of work 2 days.
