Well I've officially been with Transport for 1full year as of August 1. This will be my last update on this thread, unless someone comments or tags me in a post here i probably won't see it.
Coming over here was probably the best decision I've made to date in my 4years of driving. It was a bit of a learning curve at first, but i had lots of back up on the company side in learning how to operate the myriad of trailers that we have. Before coming over here i had never even called an od trailer. My first od load was 10ft wide, today my largest to date was 14wide 15.5ft tall and 110ft long, I've been to canada twice both with od loads, had more fun running with some of my escorts and all but a very few exceptions have my coworkers been a pleasure to learn from. I absolutely love what I'm doing now. In my first year here ive grossed over $75,000, with over $50,000 of that amount being earned just since January 1 of this year. The benefits are really nice, bit more costly than some union jobs, but the coverage we get is excellent as well.
In the end, if anyone is looking to get into the od world and looking to learn from a reputable company, give transport national a call. I am not going anywhere

Very Impressive. How did 2018 turn out for u money wise and how often were u home if I may ask? Sorry if I missed u saying it recently. I never heard of them until I come across an add for my area. I may have to see what they are all about. How often would u say u get put up in the northeast? And how are you liking that 1000 guaranteed thing? I imagine it is very helpful with OD bc sometimes those can be a PITA. I currently haul RGN and the last 2 of 3 loads have been OD(11ft, and 10ft6in) and I gotta say, it has its frustrating moments when getting paid by the mile. Lol

Idk how active @Gunner75 has been lately on here but him and I talk from time to time. I worked there for a stint as well and it’s a good place to work and definitely would recommend it. I didn’t know hardly anything about flatbedding much less OS/OD and I learned a ton. If I ever went OTR again I would probably call them first. -
I'm curious. Because it looks like they have upped the salary option. I got notified of a position with them guarentee 1200 a week and home most weekends(I figure prolly 34hr restart) but if that us the case I would def be interested bc if I'm gonna haul OD/OW I want it to be worth my time and milage is ruff on alot of these OD/OW runs bc of rules and permit routes. Lol. I may have to see what they are all about. Not huge fan of tapping, but hey if it pays good enough I think I could manage. Lol. Thank u for the input.

Ahh. Well, that would explain it.

Wow. Banned. Wonder how he managed that. If it is true.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Says his profile is not available. That usually means a ban. He didn’t seem like the type to be out of line. I liked his posts.
G13Tomcat, RERM, SuperRookie and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've spoke with him several times since he was banned. He messed up and pushed the rules on recruiting way too far. He's attempted to contact the site admins to see if it was possible to get his account reinstated, but so far has been unable to. He's come really far since he started with transport, he's now a leased owner op with them, some how he talked them into selling him his old tractor. Actually selling, not a lease purchase.
