Nice, man. Very. Still following. I'd prefer the 660 anyway, LoL~!
-
The t800 and the t660 have similar bunk, both governed at 65 but the t800 had the double tap on the pedal to go up to 70 of needed to passG13Tomcat Thanks this.

Pulled into this rest area on i88 in Worchester NY, and there happened to be a few other oversize drivers in here transporting 100ft long i beams for the tappanzee bridge. Guy offered to swap loads with me (jokingly). Through our chat i find out he's making $121 an hour.
Holy hell, I'd take that #### all day longSuperRookie, Airborne, stwik and 2 others Thank this. -
Ok so here's my 2 month update. All i will say is this. If things keep progressing as they have been, and i keep getting paychecks like I'm slated to get come this Friday, not counting my bonus check that I'm getting as well, I'm going to be extremely happy here. They treat me with respect, they have always handled maintenance issues asap, and when I'm not under a permit they let me run my routes how i want. So far to date, this is exactly what I've been looking for. And i mean everything.

Kudos and congrats, man. Glad to hear. I'm still following, and ...... thinking.......~
Be safe, bro.

Good to hear brother, I'm really hoping they will accept me once I'm done with school because they've sounded like an awesome company since I found them thru research. Thats the kind of company I wanna run for, not some mega company that wants to crap on there employee's!!!!
-
Wish you luck, man. Hard telling if they will or not; I've been driving for almost 20 years, and if I wanted to go OTR again, I'd definitely jump in and on it. Seems like an awesome company. HH/OS/OD don't often hire right out of school, but not sure about this place, just what Ja (oops Gunner) has told me. If that's your goal, you could always look at some of the 'smaller' flatbed companies to start with, jsyk. Melton and Maverick come to mind. . . . and I'm sure there are many others (not megas...) hiring in your area.
Best wishes, either way! -
From what I've been told by them they do hire new cdl holder but they only hire certain ones, not sure of the requirements as of yet. The school I'm checking out does have a recruiter come in from the company to do his or hers thing but not sure on the rest. Once I'm done I will e sure to make them my very 1st call and will give them any and all info they need to make the proper choice, just gotta be cleared by the FMCSA now, the hard part is behind me!!!
