I was trying to buy a used GMC transit bus, and I called a company for a transport quote. Never heard back from the transporter, and anyway, someone else got the bus.
Could any of you haulers hazard a guess as to what it would cost to transport a bus? I realize many variables are in play, but as an example, transport a used transit bus that can roll under its own power, but is not roadworthy.
Oklahoma City, OK area to Dayton, OH area.
When I was a transit bus mechanic, the company that towed ours used what was essentially a ramp trailer. Like a flatbed wrecker, but a tractor trailer.
I'm just curious to know. Again, just a ballpark to get a better idea of what money I'd need to transport a bus when the next one comes along. Thanks!

Can fit on my step deck !

Yours is small enough to be hauled on several types of low deck trailers. But for a full size bus, you gotta have a special bus hauling trailer; a regular Landoll is too high. See Traileze.com for pics of a bus hauler.
