    What am i missing? I don’t see any need for the crane truck. Could have been brought down & never touched any structures.

    That's just plain stupid.

    A good arborist would have been in there and felled it to firewood in an afternoon.

    Ray Charles could see why that crane went over, and he's dead

    I've pulled stumps a few times but that's completely different than holding a tree while it's being cut and shock loading the boom. I wonder if they were trying to push the tree away from the house and somehow the end of the boom got caught and pulled it over. Stupid either way

    Ive dropped larger trees, in more confined areas without any problems... Granted, each tree poses its own difficulties. But to me it doesnt seem the crane was ever needed to begin with.
