Hi guys, like promised, I will recount the most significant ocurrences in this trip for the amusement (and maybe future references) of some of you.
Beginning in Dallas with loading the truck at noon of Monday and setting the GPS for the trip, the Garmin refused to give me the whole trip at once, stating that the route was to long and showing only the first half of trip, I did set up some manual input POI's for the second half of the trip and finally it show me the whole trip, 3996 miles, not for the faint of heart but little by little it will go down to 0.
Google show a different route through ND, but it will go by the Garmin, through Montana, Calgary and Edmonton in Canada.
After getting fuel in Harrold, TX at $2,70, we (wife, dog and myself) went to Amarillo to the Big Texan Steakhouse on the I-40, ordered a nice piece of steak with some wine to get a good sleep and tomorrow will be another day (better I hope), 3685 miles to go and counting, with some luck will be there on time, appt to unload is setup for next Monday 10:00am Alaskan time, good night to you all.

Take some video to document it so you can look back on your trip from the old rocking chair one day.
frizzbees, Swiss Mountain Dog and Oldironfan Thank this. -
What type of load? Hope it pays well. Because it seems like a week of work but will end up being at least 10days I'm guessing.

Enjoy your trip. I've did it in a carf but never in a truck. Take lots of pics and watch out for the wildlife.
