I've checked all fuses. Unhooked all power to the board. Checked the switches on the dash, engine switch and on control. Hooked up my laptop and checked the notepad and tried to run system tests but when it resets I lose connection with the unit and have to start over.

Not getting any of the codes on the control if that is what you mean. It does not have a dpf. Shut off last night and I woke up to the AC mode light flashing. Hasn't started since.

Then you either have a compressor problem, or have lost your freon charge would be my guess. Some units had an issue with the sensor on the dryer unit on the back of the cab, you could check those plugs. But it sounds like a trip to TK.

####. Thanks for the help.

If the dryer unit is hanging off the truck that could be a problem right. Lol. It's behind the headache rack and I just looked.

Hope the thread isnt dead the problem I'm having is I'm getting the alt fault code on apu. I check alternator everything is tight an right from belts to the out put of the alternator. I can tell by using my inverter that it will start off charging the batteries from 12.8 to 13.0 then apu will shut off I'm in the process of maybe buying a new alternator even though I don't think it's something wrong with this one can anyone point me in a direction of what I might have over looked I checked wires on the back of alternator everything is connected tight so no problem their unless it's the regulator but I'm not sure to how to test that.
Also for some of the guys who are getting the en9 code it can sometime be a 30 amp fuse in the reset box under the bunk or the 7.5 fuse I cant remember exactly but I started their when I got the code an even after hitting the reset button not getting it to work test the fuses in the reset box
Also check the apu it self an make sure the on or off switch is in the on position because if it's in the off position the code will come up as en9 -

If you are only seeing 12.8 to 13 you are not getting enough output from the alternator. If you do not have a loose, broken or corroded wire, then the voltage regulator in the alternator is shot.
