No, not TFC Jacob Byrd of the Arkansas State Police, but trooper Byrd of the Georgia State Patrol.

It seems troopers were filing insurance claims after using PIT maneuvers to end pursuits and receiving checks.

Well, there's still trooper Mathews who goes hard after bad guys during pursuits.
