Crazy as hell, and of course no load is worth ya life. I don't understand how people get into those situations, too many resources to end up trapped in 12 feet of water.

The thing is, many neighborhoods are flooded that have never flooded in their history.
It's funny to listen to some of the pleas from emergency management personnel. Their acting as if those who might be in trouble can actually hear their message. These poor people ... they lost power probably a day ago, if not, their TV went underwater last night. Their cell phone ran out of battery earlier. If they have a battery operated radio, it's dead and the spare batteries are under 5 feet of water and no longer any good.
It's going to be dark again, soon. Snakes, rats, dead carcasses of this and that and the other everywhere. Those poor people. No way you can shelter that many people.
Some media are already questioning the early pre-storm actions or lack of.

Local news in Houston was predicting the heaviest rain to stay south and west of town noon Friday. That's probably part of the reason the majority of people didn't leave. Mother Nature is going to do what she wants. The weatherman can only give their best guess.

My man just sunk his own car for nothing, wow. Same with the truck driver earlier I posted, how does this happen? I'd be 300 miles out of route before ya find my truck sitting in 8 feet of water, unbelievable..
