Chicago Police,NY police are actually on "our" side.
As Long as you appear to be Relevant and a good head on your shoulders as a driver, They Work With us.Not against us.

I Know Tons of Chicago Cops- they are too busy with other things than to bother you.

Its unfortunate Small Towns, State police and other jurisdictions are not the same ......

Safety? No.... Its being bored so have to pull over an 18 to do a level 1 and find flaws in the vehicle before he goes Home to mama's Pot Roast.

 

For Sure- Well...I Blame the officers "Superiors" You know the ones telling them what to do everyday out there...

I like working Baltimore- Cops there are Fine by me......Just getting there, the state boys ,Scales are instructed to "give em he11".......

Dont do much Eastern Shore work,So cant Comment if trucks are bothered......

 

Eastern Shore pretty much stays the same. Just wait for the tourists to go home and then count the taking tonight.

I understand the Bay is not doing well. What with a variety of issues in the last 15 years or so that did not exist before then.

Eat at the lunch counter, talk about getting screwed by a scalemaster. One of the 400lb, former special forces guys will pipe up about how he called in the Marshals.

 

Actually it’s sorta true. The older guys that are just riding out their days until retirement are the ones likely to say this. The newer guys would never tell you this. I was in queens industrial district and some dummy parked on the curb hell his back bumper was still in the street. Waved a nearby cop he got out his cruiser, looked and told me “he’s definitely not supposed to be there. Okay I want you to open as wide as you can. If you still hit him don’t stop or I will have to write both you and him a ticket” I managed by luck not to hit him and the cop gave me the thumbs up and drove off didn’t even write the other guy a ticket. He definitely had his years probably on his last one just trying to get by.

Another time different cop. Literally wrote a ticket to the guy, helped me back up and escorted me to another street stopped traffic so I can get by. It depends on the cop honestly. The older boomer generation have a “I’m too old for this crap” mentality lol.
