    Hello,
I own a Hotshot setup. I was wondering if there is any regs preventing me from hooking up to drive away Semi load with my gooseneck trailer. I could put my truck on the trailer and still have room to get an additional load in route to the Semis destination. I emailed DOT but have not gotten back a response yet.

I am not sure the owner of the drive away truck would be happy with you hauling a load with that truck. Would you want to trust your reputation on a secondary load when you don't know anything about the power unit you have picked up? Besides, I am sure you are limited to hauling other loads due to insurance/vehicle identifications, registrations, etc but I could be wrong.

Good question though. Let us know what you find out!

I am 90% sure that I have read that the drive away vehicle has to be unladen, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
