Looking for anyone with knowledge and or experiance with this type of work. I am looking at hauling two units with the a boom trailer that would also carry a pick up truck on it, This way I have transportation to the next pick up point. I would need to have a 3/4 ton P/U and then purchase the trailer from the company. I am responsible for fuel only aside from the maintenance of the P/U and trailer. So before I look into putting together a business plan to work on financing the P/U trailer and any other misc. items I will need I thought I could get some real world answers from here. Thanks all:biggrin_25524:

i've done that type of work, both contractor and company driver. i don't think the boom trailer is a good idea personally. You can make pretty good money doing singles and towing your truck behind especially when you consider how much the trailer will end up costing.
