Not everyone wants to attend college.
I certainly didn't, but pushed into it. I quit without telling anyone and joined the Navy. I told my parents after I was sworn in and ready to leave for basic training in San Diego. No regrets at all. College isn't for everyone.
My sister went to a university and became a doctor. I'm not jealous, I'm happy for her.

I "attended" two schools and hated every minute of it.
Vanderbilt University and Cumberland Law School. Wasn't impressed with either and they probably weren't impressed with me. I tested and qualified for both, but travel is in my blood and the Navy had what I wanted and so did long haul trucking.

I do over 100k consistently. It’s there if you can find it. I see lots of college educated people out of work with a pile of student debt.

Poor mechanics always blame their tools. I know several people who went to college and now they're waiting tables. A degree is not the end all be all in making a decent living. If you're not ok with making 28k/year, change it.

not sure what your deal is. I have a college degree and I know a bunch of people my age (50s) driving who had degree'd careers before. Sometimes things go to heck. I would have to leave my home to do my job in another city now. But I could probably make 28k at home doing something different, retail maybe. I'm almost double that at less than 2 years in. How much time do you take off? Home every weekend or some such?

    Same story here.
Sis spent 5 years at Northeastern University. Worked hard, putting in big overtime at one of the highest paying hospitals in the country. Saved her money. About a year ago, at 55 y/o, retired VERY comfortable. She retired just before the virus BS hit(talk about luck).
I'm am very happy for her.
I am happy being a flunky driver and wouldnt change a thing, career wise.
As the ole saying goes, different strokes for different folks.
