carrying camping stoves in the cab or sleeper is a very bad idea. Not one truck driver has failed to once knock over his own coffee cup. Knock over your own camp stove and your truck is burning to the ground. Your bedding, your mattress, most of the interior of a truck is flammable plastic.

With modern electronics, inverters and trucks there really is zero reason to carry a portable stove anymore. I mean for heavens sake we have crap like this now. https://www.amazon.com/CHEFMAN-Mini...2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9waG9uZV9zZWFyY2hfYXRm&psc=1 it will cook anything about as well as pan frying it and has about the same chance of a truck fire as a microwave i.e nearly 0 unless you buy a chinese wish.com inverter.

    tscottme Thanks this.

That's all good...unless your truck doesn't have a minimum 2kw+ inverter nor will the company install one if you're a company driver. My employer put an inverter in but only 1200w. Can barely run a small microwave. Takes 9 minutes to warm a cup of coffee. Forget an actual electric fry pan or air fryer with efficiency. Can't run a small induction stove long enough to cook anything even with the truck idling.
