Exactly. I'm in early this morning since I'm a biiiit swamped.

 

Yep still high out this way. Thursday got 1400 on 190mi from upstate ny coming back into PA. Looking on the boards last night there was a bunch of 200-250mi loads for 1300-1700

Still trying to catch up from these storms. Lots of freight didn't get moved

 

Booked a $2000 on 240 mi and the other truck 1600 on 142mi for Mon. Gonna try and get a load back for both trucks

It seems, that the freight market is harder to predict than the weather.

A few weeks ago, I really thought that by now, we'd all be in a state of moderate contentment - at the most, but the spot market revived here in the Midwest and continues to boom.

I am booked for this week: $ 8,880.93 on 2650 miles without any begging or hustling.

I think we can already declare this 1 st quarter a decent one on the account of January and February alone: My quarterly target has already been reached:



I could relax the entire month. Anything now is a bonus or an advance towards the next quarter.

I think @Scooter Jones should reconsider and get the equipment back in motion. I am sure he could do twice as much of what I am capable of.

Today started almost as hot as last week was. Just trying to find the happy ground to get things going...

 

It would be a travesty for a spot market people to slow down now. I'll continue to run as much as I can.
I have Florida vacations booked for the last week of March. All family is looking forward to it, myself included, but before then I want every penny I can find.
But when I get there...to that white sand beach, I'll sit down under a Palm Tree with a view of the Gulf, one hand a Cigar, another holding a glass of Scotch on the rocks and be asking myself "What is a trucking business, anyway?"

 

Maybe one of these days I'll let @Midwest Trucker hire me or something.

 

Bring it buddy! I know you’re joking but I’d pay to relocate you to IND any day of the week. A top hand like yourself would be a game changer for my program.
