I need some advice, what are some good marketing ideas to let people know I have truck parking spaces available for rent month to month? I have tried facebook groups, facebook marketplace, facebook ads, craigslist, & offerup. It is a mile away from the interstate and is a well built lot only 4 miles away from about 3 major truck stops. My lot is in Wilmer, TX, about 15-20 minutes south from downtown Dallas. Any suggestions as to how to better market my ad?

Maybe put a sign up near Miller brewing or just go talk to them. I've been to MANY places (shippers and recievers) that happily post on the guard shack nearby places to park. I believe there's a QT truck stop nearby as well. They might allow you to put up a flyer.

As the others said...various means of advertising. Some can be had pretty cheap, some not so.

When you say Craigslist, are you just targeting the lot's location? Or are you also posting in the other nearby cities? "Need a spot to park your big rig? We're located <City> just <minutes> away from <City>. Blah blah blah blah blah". Something like that maybe. I don't do FB for anything other than randomly popping on once a year or so and letting people know I'm alive. ;) Word of mouth is another option. You can always ask folks who do stay with you to leave a review on the various review sites.

Word of mouth is a powerful tool. If @lual tells me face to face/phone/etc to try/stay away from <random burger joint> I'm more prone to listen to Lual, than I am some anonymous review on google or wherever.

Try and make yourself different from every other ad out there if you can. I know, easier said then done.

I'm not a professional marketer, nor do I play one on TV. The above has worked for me at lest., totally different field though. lol.

    Good luck.

Sorry Lual, you posted above me, so I used you in my post. ;)

You could also cheat and offer a free taco or three....

Business card stuck in the window of trucks randomly parked in business parks, in the area. Go to area truckstops and do the same to all the bobtails sitting around. I’d think, most all of them would rather park in a secure lot, where they can leave their personal vehicle while they’re gone. Once you get some trucks in there, the word-of-mouth will fill it.
