What was the name of the truck stop on I-35 between San Antonio and Austin that had a limo that would shuttle drivers from their trucks to the truck stop and back to your truck? I stayed there several times in the early 2000s. For the life of me I can't remember the name of it. I always thought the limo was cool.

Dorsett 221 Truck Stop in Buda, TX. Closed in 2005 after a fire. I don't remember the Limo, but this was about the only place to stop between Austin and San Antonio. It's now called Pinball Kingdom.

Buda, TX. Shame it went to crap after the fire. The old Rip offs in NB was good back in the day. Haven't been there since TA took over.

Back in those days our antique truck chapter used have our meetings every second saturday of the month there. We’d all roll in and park way down the hill in the back lot and Ralph or one of his boys would pick us up and drive as up to the restaurant door first class. If he was still on site when we adjourned the resturant would call him and they'd come pick us up and take us back down to our trucks. We always had a mini truck show going on then. When Rip sold to T/A back in 2004 and T/A’s culture took over that all went away.

TA could screw up a wet dream. Same with Pilot. Rip offs used to be a decent stop. Petro went to crap after the merge. Same with Flying J when Peelot took over. Williams used to be nice. Used to hit a few of them back in the day. Thanks Peelot, You screwed that one up to.

Pilot bought Williams in 2003 and that was a sad day. Most of the 24 former Williams are still standing and if you knew Williams you know them immediately. They had a sit down restaurant in them called Main Street Market. It was good old homestyle cooking. Pilot of course removed them and put their flippin’ Subways in.

Yep Peelot screwed them up. I used to like Main Street. Food was great. I do miss them. One of my favorite was the Williams in Brazil, IN. Good staff and I was always taken care of. I went in there so much, I was on a first name basis. I revisited it back in 18, of course it has long ben a Peelot. Place went down hill.
