Good salt should do the job : friend of mine advised me to buy most expensive one from home depot when i stuck on my parking lot and it worked like a charm ! Other option is to use a chain and ask fellow truck driver to pull you out .

    okiedokie and Rideandrepair Thank this.

Not only does it not have a clutch but the iShift is pretty much engineered to get you stuck. I'm convinced. These things hate everything but level, dry ground. No way I'd drive that truck another mile without some real tires either.

Sounds like frozen brakes. But a few bottles of air line antifreeze can save you in a jam.

Hot tires melted thru ice when you parked.

    Rideandrepair and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

This is exactly why I say people should learn to hang iron WITHOUT having to move the truck... When you really need chains the most, the truck is not going to be able to drive onto them.

Ok the volvo auto must be different. The freightliner i drove that was auto was like a car , when u let off the brake in gear it moves forward. I figured that could keep him from spinning wheels so fast

T.Rucker, Rideandrepair and 86scotty Thank this.
