    Hey guys,

Going to be attending trucking school by the end of the month and was just wondering what trucking companies are based in LA? I want to be able to park my truck at a terminal during home time and not have to travel a thousand miles home lol.

    Thanks.

No. Some of your orientation class mates traveled TWO thousand miles to be there.

Leave your car at home, Once you are in the assigned truck (Should you be successful at Orientation) you will get home eventually.

Which city/town do you live in?
Lots of tanker, household goods movers, have terminals in LA.

    #### chinatown your everywhere haha, I live in Chino Hills, I would love to do tanker/hauling fuel and maybe even LTL work, if they take people with no experience.

Winter driving; drive for conditions. Don't be scared, be careful and use common sense and you'll do just fine.
Call any company you're interested in and ask if they hire from Edison.
Do you want to run the roads or stay in your region?

Well that's the thing, I want to do local because my wife wants to have kids soon, but knowing MOST trucking companies they only want OTR because of experience and insurance purposes. But I wouldn't mind doing regional and being home 2 days a week and on the road for 5.
