    If the truck was parked on a steep hill and it was a case of brakes not being set, then the truck probably would have started rolling well before the driver could have left the cab, opened up the trailer, and started working inside. (unless it was "steep" only for the purposes of exaggeration)

    If the slack adjusters are out of adjustment enough they well not tightly hold the shoes against the drums even with the maxi’s set.
