Just got a message on the qualcomm that said we can now go to blue beacon and get our truck washed and we don't have to get it approved 1st. The message said must have a trailer connected and can only do it once a month.

    fr8te_sh8ker Thanks this.

Don't quite know what to say but didn't want to read and run. Sounds like they are trying real hard to make sure income doesn't meet expense. How much is $42 × 2500 trucks x 12 ? But anyway, im sure they'll steal enough from the driver's to cover the cost.

Ummmmmm, it's no different than it was yesterday!!! They washed every truck once a month if you wanted it before yesterday. Now you just don't have to wait for BD to give you an express code. So I would say they are spending the same tomorrow and they did yesterday.

They just recently started paying for truck washes. I've been with USA for nearly 6 years now and they have never paid to have my truck washed a single time. If they have always paid for truck washing like you claim then why so many nasty trucks on the road? Some of you always seem to feel a need to defend the companies position on everything no matter what it is. Lol, as if USA was some sort of savior to you. I once met a driver that had USA logos tattooed on his arms. At what point does all of this become poor health of the mind?

That may be true but some of you talk like they have always paid for them and they have not. Also, It doesn't do any good to decide to pay for truck washing and not tell everyone about it until a year and a half later. They don't seem to have a problem with mailing out nice shiny flyers every month trying to recruit trainers or get driver referrals but never once sent a message out regarding truck washes. I guess those of us that don't hop from job to job every couple of month are just always in the dark on company policies.

How did you become aware? It's understandable that a more recent hire would know more about current policies but if they don't communicate it to the rest of us then how are we to know. You sound like you're saying that it's my own fault for not knowing.

I've had so many FM's in the last 1.5 years I cant remember any of their names without a great deal of thought. That's probably why I never got word. The newer drivers tend to keep the same FM and the rest of us get shuffled around.
