Asked and answered. Everyone has their own opinion so use the search tool to read past discussions where everyone has already given their .02.

Or you could just tell us. Some of us dont have time to set on this site forever searching for an answer. So, just answer the man's question. I would but I don't use gps.

I use the Rand McNally 720 ( I think is its number) but don't use a GPS solely, they are not always correct, double check routes to a regular map and or your cell maps and see where its trying to route you
What I do like is it keeps track of all fuel and expenses, all State driven miles and figures out my IFTA when plugged in to my laptop

I like the rand 720, but like i said, everyone has their own opinion. They all have there strong suits and they all have areas that they work horribly. Most dont do well in north jersey. Asking this is like asking, what truck is best. Some have anual fees for map updates. Rand mc normally has promotions for lifetime updates.

I assume all the truck ones work the same but all I have used was Rand
It also allows you to enter your trucks height, weight, etc and it "should" or is supposed to keep you on roads that allow your specs, but again it can run you 2 different routes to the same location so always double check it against another source
Rand McNally ( don't know about others} will also update its maps each time you hook to your laptop and go to their site which is nice, I also have WIFI on my truck and if I want I can have live weather and accident updates on my screen
