Truckers protest in Washington DC !!!

Easy to say. You don’t take it the mega carriers will they can survive on #### rates because $1 on 10000 trucks is $10,000. They penny pinch in every way. Tax loopholes, bulk buy trucks and recaps, shaft driver pay, etc. What we need is the government to stop giving those big corporations so many hand outs and start taxing them properly so they have to raise their rates.

 

You say government gives them too much handouts, can't complain about the government when we put those very people there. Maybe folks ought to reevaluate who they choose to guide the country...just saying

 

Governments giving EVERYONE a handout. theres a name for that.

Most workers went to 12 hour shifts, Could be wrong,,but I think it was the European Drivers, shut the Continent down because of longer hours of duty,

 

I despise brokers. Don’t use them to find loads, and if it ever comes a time when I have to use them, I’ll quit.

Now that being said, I think it’s stupid to try to put a percentage cap on what brokers can make. It makes no difference what the broker makes on a load, if you accept it at a certain price, that’s on you. Just don’t haul cheap freight. If you can’t make it in this business without bowing to the all mighty broker, you just need to go find you something else to do.
