Trucker's wife....need CB advice.

I have a Galaxy DX48T and a Connex 4300-300. Both are good, the connex was a nightmare getting lined out. But now it dead keys 340w and slings 440w according to the meters. Took alot of shop time and work on it to get it to really work right. Straight out of the box it was junk. Almost sold it and went back to my galaxy. Will Pm you about some CB things.

 

I had a Connex 3300 for eights years, only had it in the shop one time. Last month it gave up the ghost after I dropped it (opps!) Last week I bought a Connex 3300hp, $225 taxed, tuned, and installed (the 3300 was $200 eight years ago). I couldn't be happier with it. My backup is a Galaxy 33, it is also a fine radio, but it is not the Connex's equal.

I have been using a Connex 3300hp and love it. I recently bought a new General Lee ($189.95) from cbradiosplus.com and had it peeked and tuned by them (19.95 for p & t). It is the best radio I've owned yet. Good Luck.

I agree with cuzzin it, a better mic will make a world of differance. To me a road king is a louder mic, but the astatic has a cleaner sound.
