You tell em MACK E-6. Some of us do have a little pride and respect for the profession and ourselves. I too always wore uniforms when employed at Conway Southern Express and when I drove for an independent company I always had button down shirts, pressed slacks and boots. I also showered daily even though some of today's wanna be drivers have less than acceptable hygiene habits.

 

Yet here you are complaining

 

You do know you can't always shower if you don't have credits or park at the customer to save your clock...some loads are too tight window for a daily shower .

 

I agree, but at least every other day, or take a sink shower, which I've done before.....

 

Yes i buy those shower wipes in a pinch...I'm just saying daily shower is not always realistic unless you can get it early every morning before starting

 

I agree with both of you. I personally keep towels, soap, gallons of water, and a hard hat in the truck. I take the plastic object out of the hard hat, fill it with water and create a little bird bath lol.....no excuse to smell like ####

 

Hey now, don't go picking on QT! At least the coffee is hot and (I'll assume) fresh! And it's not that leftover BBQ coffee like at the Sandeep Singh One Stop.
And QT makes a darn good buffalo chicken grilled cheese!

 

If you don't have shower credits then you just need to pay up for a shower. I know the cost is crazy but there should be no excuse for a rank stinky body or filthy clothes. You wouldn't skip them if you were home every day with your wife because I'm sure that she wouldn't tolerate that behavior.

 

The food at QT is fantastic....it's that coffee I can't get with. It don't even wake me up. Anywhere that only sells Dunkin coffee sucks too......Dunkin's coffee tastes just like the donuts lol
