Your account is all of 11 days old. Are you a driver? If you don't want to see what people have to say about experiences in this industry, then why are you on a trucker's forum? And no. We don't just complain. We share stories and experiences in hopes of helping other people.

    I'll start.
    • TA/Petro food was always dumpy. It just seemed to get worse during and after the plandemic. Like I'm paying $30 for a steak and potato meal and what I'm getting is a rare hamburger patty and some powdered Ore Ida potato flakes. Couple that with tea that's so sweet that it wakes up your dentist with a loud "cha-ching" as the cavity in your molar gets deeper. Also, it seems like the wait staff and kitchen workers hate their jobs.
    • Pilot/Flying J pizza sits on your gut like a brick and you feel like you weigh at least 250 more pounds than you actually do. Don't get me started on the bowel movement inducing fried foods.
    • Loves is ok if you don't mind McDonald's, Chester's or Subway but it gets tiring after the fifth time. I haven't had the pleasure of trying any of the Punjabi restaurants. I plead the 5th on their roller items.
    • QT isn't so bad though over half of their food is microwaveable stuff you'd find in your local Dollar General freezer. Enough said.
    • Casey's is by far one of the best if you ask me. The food was a fresh sensation when I went.
    • I can't say too much about Sapp Bros as I've only ever spent 20 minutes in one. It was at least clean and the staff was friendly.
    • The death of the diners is another. I will say that, while expensive, Black Bear diner was super good. You'd better get there early if you want the brisket though. I've never had it, so I'm the wrong one to ask if it's any good. Best solo experience was Skol Tavern in Albert Lea as it completely bodied the McDonald's and Taco Bell on every level.
    Just my two-cents.
