Trucking and the Right Mind Set!

Mack, i agree 110%. But, you know.. We can all as drivers, POLITELY raise awareness. For instance, you bet your ### my wife knows how to drive around the big trucks.

The rookies are starting out in a good way (Here). As long as they pay attention, i think we're getting our message out. For you new guys, don't worry about those guys who think they're better than you, becuase they have years of experience on the road... Even they started somewhere. Don't forget that. Experience rarely makes you "better", either you can drive, or you can't.

having only been on the road for 9mos, ive covered 30+ states. and like the above posters said there is alot of garbage on the radio. and 95% of it comes from 'old timers' often unprovoked. they're also the same ones that do all the complaining about how it used to be, and the 'school mills' that turn out all the 'greenhands'. Well, we all CHOSE this career, none of us were drafted. And you definately have to love it to do it.
