A fine, reputable company. I'm surprised people work for anyone else on this board.

Lonesome and TB John Thank this.

Speed isn't all it's cracked up to be. I mean sure, if you're paid by the mile and don't pay for fuel or maintenance, you want to be efficient. So in that case it makes sense.

But honestly? Hourly is where it's at. I've never MADE so much money letting you guys go past. I go to work, I'm safe all day, I go home. Least stress I've ever had, honestly.

Sadly I wasn't approved for the lease/purchase program there. So they must have high standards. It was something about my blood type. @Frank Speak did the screening.

Where I work, the trucks will do darn near 80, we get paid by the hour, running around here in the oil patch.

    CorsairFanboy and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

If you're paid by the hour, it should only matter how slow the trucks can go. Lol

At times, it is nice to ‘get up and go’, it sure beats getting caught short on drive time on the way back to the yard. An extra 15 mph can come in handy.

    alds and LtlAnonymous Thank this.

Wouldn't matter where I live. You're only going as fast as the traffic. Lol

Back when I was OTR I ran 70MPH and I was constantly getting my doors blown off by Giltner and Carter Express.

I hated being passed by Volvos.
