This is one of my favorite medium duty trucks in the USA.

 

I'd say the Power to Weight Ratio was in Benz's Favour..

 

He claims both have same weight (both logger trucks).

What kind of engine do you think might be in this kw

 

I drove a brand new Arcos 530 8x4 with 4 axle trailer grossing total 58 tons not that long ago. It was the slowest truck I have ever driven. Nice truck to drive but slow as hell. If we had grossed 70 tons I don't think we would have made it home at all .
KW must be 430 and Merc 630.

 

The KW looks like either a T908 or 909 which would be Cummins Powered. Either ISX @550/1850 a Signature @600/2050.

I did a bit of Facebook stalking of guy who posted the Video & he has 2 2663's which are 625/2213..

 

my brother occasionally drive 68t with it. most days it is up to 45t.
we have people who pull 105 and 117t with them with pendel trailers. one pulling stone crushers into forest (they build timber roads). equipped with front hydraulic driven axle.

 

are we talking about E5 or E6 in KW?
guy actually speaks my language.

how is E6 working at high engine load at temps of lets say 45c+
we rarely have more than 40c in shade, highest official is 43c, so we dont have experience with very hot temps.
lets say this is 50c on sun at place where engine is located, with 40t no problem and significant power derate.
people who pulls very heavy notice difference comparing to e5.
