for such use for some 15-20years you would use hydrogen, electric will be fine for regional or city distribution( partially loaded trucks), garbage trucks, sweeper truck and similar. when it comes to real power hydrogen will be answer, but it will take many years for that.

I don't think that a lot of folks who live in urban areas have any idea how vast and relatively uninhabited parts of the continent still are.

Where I used to live, it was a decent size city but a 2 hour drive of literally nothing until you got to the next nearest settlement (which was a hotel, 2 gas stations and a couple houses). It was a further 60 or so minutes until the next settlement. Anything electric is useless in that scenario.

We can't all live in the city (nor do we all want to either).

No, I just need to promise I will only use it only for company reasons, no need to remove back seats.
I can fit in back seats (i'm 177 cm tall), but it's really tiny there.

For me the biggest problem are seats (you sit to high, they don't hold you at all, and my back hurts after some time) will probably replace them with recaro bucket seat at some point. There is no exhaust sound at all, the speakers make it sound like cheap 3 cylinder Daewoo car (they were really popular in Poland in 90s). Visibility can be fixed by mounting rear view mirror higher.

272 hp is I believe the power without gpf, so markets which don't require it (Australia, Japan) have higher output. But the car doesn't even put check engine once you put straight pipe from turbo, so ..

We are doing the best I can with our solar panels … bad time of year low sun angle and short days . And very cloudy and or stormy days. Did not quite cover usage this month . And that’s without plugging in a car or 3…..

p.s. the system only been running since mid September

Flint1, Oxbow, 98989 and 2 others Thank this.

4 more panels were put on so complete roof is covered except breezeway and small bump out on other end…
