My God that is crazy flat.
Honestly flat country kinda freaks me out.
I don't know why, it just does.
If I can't at least see a mountain, I get an uneasy feeling.AModelCat, Oxbow and Another Canadian driver Thank this. -

I grew up in mountain country, moved around lots but always in mountain country, then settled down permanently in mountain country.
Its probably like people who are born and raised on the praries, would feel uncomfortable living here I'll guess.
When I think about it, it's probably also the lack of easily distinguishable land marks. Mountains can be seen for a long distance, so i have a directional sense because of it.
All i know is that flat lands somehow make me a little uneasy.Another Canadian driver Thanks this. -

I came from the flats to the mountains. Mountains are much better, but less people is best of all....
MartinFromBC Thanks this.
