There`s lots of talk about Mexicans and American jobs, wonder why no one seems to notice the Russians? There are alot of them trucking on the Eastcoast.Seems like they are all riding new equipment.Certainly looks newer than the U.S. owner ops are running.Where do they get their money? How do so many of them seem to end up at the same company?Doesn`t Russia,Bosnia and Serbia have a large Muslim population also?Wonder why we`re seeing more now than 6-7 years ago?Do you think the Mexican "issue" could be a smokescreen? My personal experience with the Russians(and their close neighbors) has me beleiving that they (as a whole) are arrogant, sneaky and act like we owe them something.Kind of the same beliefs the middle east has of Americans. My personal opinion, and I could be wrong,is that the U.S. should be watching them closer.I do see their presence growing rapidly on the east coast. They make me nervous, thats something the Mexicans never did...

The east coast has always a large "former" Russian population. If you want to call it that. Many are from states of the former USSR, so they're not exactly Russian. And many are Jewish...not Muslim.

But you're right. They are a sneaky bunch LOL Most of them are good guys, just trying to do the best they can. And they have their #######, just like we do.

Many of them are highly educated. They do what they are able to, within the confines of Federal Law and how it applies to their chosen field of work. Many will not transfer to an American held license IE Russian Lawyer doesn't know a lot of US law unless he trained specifically for US practice. ;) So they do the next best thing...become truckers.

My eye remains on the southern border.....still.
