What type trucking are you interested in?
Where is your location?
How many hours is the school you're attending?

 

If you prefer flatbed, just go right to it out of school. There's some good outfits that will hire you the day you graduate.

All 4 of these hire new cdl grads, even if a website has "experience required." Apply to all 4 and look over the job offers. Do the online applications the very first day of cdl school.

You can trust his word.
He will never intentionally steer anyone wrong.
STILL.. talk to drivers of any company you are serious about and find out what THEY think
You can generally find a link to forums for most carriers within this site.
Also, go to a large truck stop and talk to them in person.
Ask if the company keeps their word.. if they pay what they promise... if you sit around a lot on short hauls, etc.

ASK
