I had a curious thought last night while I was in bed. We've all heard of ghost ships and other supernatural phenomena.

Are there any stories, urban legends, or creepy tales that involve truckers? Like ghost trucks for instance? Or even haunted trucks or truck stops?

I'm not talking about Frank in his search for Kentuckians. That's almost normal at this point.

How bout the "Black Dog". Evidently, Drivers report seeing it when they are all alone out on some dark highway in the middle of the night when they are dead tired.

I've heard about the Black Dog. Unfortunately, out of the three stories I heard; two of which were quite incredulous and I don't believe those to be true encounters. The one I do believe may have happened wasn't as outrageous as the others. In that one, the Black Dog was a bit on the larger side and would keep pace with the truck. It seemed to be trying to warn the driver of an impending accident or other negative event. The Black Dog had since disappeared and the driver had not seen it since then.

I can believe that the Black Dog can be on the larger side, but I don't believe it can leap clear across a 3-lane highway in one go and I don't believe they can leap over a truck like nothing either. I also believe that what a driver could be seeing could also actually be some form of a Rake, Dogman, Skinwalker, or even a Hellhound. But who knows...

I would like to see dash cam footage of these mysterious canines.

Apparently he did that movie with a titanium rod and several screws in one of his femurs. Broke both legs and shoulder a couple months prior to filming. Pretty bad### actually.

The lot lizard getting out of a truck, squatting over a puddle, and splashing water up to wash herself off. I've heard that one a few different places so I think it qualifies as a trucker urban legend.

I know your style. The classic part is that actually used that 3406 pete sound when pulling out of garage in beginning, but then the rest of the movie they dubbed the sound over with a 2 stroke detroit. WTF. Then also another biggie in the beginning was not a pete 379 when he pushes clutch in. it was a clutch mounted up under dash. So what interior truck was that?
