So would you say a 2017 RAM 3500 DRW with an Aisin and 3.73 gear ratio is up to snuff pulling a 3 car wedge weighing 7,500 lbs and 3 vehs total weight of 15,000 lbs is adequate?
Would you say a 2017 F350 DRW with an Torque Shift 6 and 3.73 gear ratio is up to snuff pulling a 3 car wedge weighing 7,500 lbs and 3 vehs total weight of 15,000 lbs is adequate?
I do realize each perspective vehicle gives their tow capacities, but I would like info from the actual day to day experience and not just towing 100 miles a few times a month.
Thanks in advance.

Based on what’s on the road either or works.
In reality, go buy a single axle- they last longer and will run better. Cheaper to purchase as well.AUTOFR8 Thanks this. -
You may buy a truck an cut off back axle then move rear drive axle to ft. then you will have a stick shift and be able to haul with no p/u truck bounce ride?
AUTOFR8 Thanks this. -
Thanks gents for the information. I ended up with a 2017 3500 Ram with 7,400 miles and warranty at a decent price. It has an Aisin and 4.10 gear ratio.
