    Is it legal truckstop/RMIS asking for ID verification?

    it is so annoying and also extra BS added

    Well possibly , if its a private fuel stop , but a public one , never had that happen.
    I know the un manned - fuel only self serves around here issue there own fuel cards that only work at there location
