I've recently returned to the industry after an injury and am finding it rather difficult to be picked up by larger, higher paying companies. Is there anything I can do on my end to find out why? Are there any suggestions of good paying companies that wont take you through the ringer just to get work?

thanks in advance for any insight given!

Put where you live in your profile...general area. What do you think is holding you back?

    Or Send him a message.

Put your location on your profile. That will help him and others to help you.

I was off the bigroad for 7 yrs. I went from being a heavy hauler to not being able to get a regular stick and brick flatbed job at a decent company. No one would touch me. They all mentioned going to school. Ridiculous! Swift offered me a flatbed gig. Didn't have to go to school, but I had to ride with a freakin trainer for 6 weeks. Wow, what an eye opener!

    Driving.
    Dont need the clutch
Dont care about Swift policy either.
Hear anything going crash and bang?
Then it's not hurting the transmission.

What sort of injury....if it was workman's comp recordable that may be your problem.....does it limit you in any way...weight / lifting restrictions , or any other restrictions would be a problem for potential employers I would imagine.
