Trying to get hazmat, 2015 arrest

    I got arrested in 2015 for possession of stolen firearm. Never went to court on this charge. Will this stop me for getting a hazmat. It is showing that this charge is still open

    Disqualifying Offenses

    I would say in your circumstance (according to Part C of the Disqualification Factors,) since your case is still open, you wouldn't qualify for a Hazmat Endorsement until you have had your case dismissed or closed.

    You need to contact the Court that has this case open and petition the Court to have the charges dropped or have them dismissed.
