It's so cool that you did this, by any chance you have the replacement axle part numbers? I really like your setup, I missed out on buying a good used 2016 Max6 for $20k but I'm sure I will find another one and once I buy one I would convert it over to air brake too. Kaufman should really make air brake standard equipment on this trailer, you should send them an email.

I do have all the engineering spec sheets on the axels from when I worked with dexter engineering to spec them out.
Let me know if you buy one and need the engineering sheets.
They are a direct bolt in with no modification.

@Hulld, what engine is in your Freightliner? I've found a similar truck FL Century 112 with Mercedes engine but I hear Mercedes engine is low on power.

    It’s a series 60 ddec V 14.0 liter.
    It’s set at 600hp/ 2000 torque.
I have never been a big fan of the Mercedes but some have good luck with them.

I have found another Max6, I could use those spec sheets now if you don't mind :)

That is a lot of engine for a single axle with no real weight over the drives unloaded. I bet it flattens out hills and gets fun in the rain.

    It does run well..
I can pull any hill in pa loaded in top gear pretty much as fast as I want.
As far as running in the rain it hasn't been to much of a problem because the power comes on very linear.
Most all my time is spent in the right hand lane at 63 to 65 mph so I also do well on fuel mileage.
With that being said it sure is nice to know its there when you need it.

    Ruthless and brian991219 Thank this.
