Mine and LH's hometown is being flooded right now, but we're helping out as much as we can in y'all's area. Eskimo's house burned Friday night, and yet he's the one who brought all this to our attention. Point is, we've all got things going on but that shouldn't stop us from helping out our neighbors where ever, whenever, or however we can.

I'll be hauling a load from Auburn, AL up to the Sand Mountain area on my own time. I'm also hoping to get a truckload of donations from my hometown to bring back to AL, GA, or TN.

We're trying to make a difference here, not exclude this area or that region.

The efforts that we are making in this matter is entirely grassroots type stuff. We are picking up the donations from the drop off points and taking them directly to the people who need them. There are no warehouses, no government agencies and red tape, no corrupt charity organizations, and nothing else in the middle of the chain. 100% of donated items are going to the devastated areas and put "on the ground" where it is needed most.

These supplies are NOT only going to Tuscaloosa, They are going to small communities all over Alabama that need our help. As a matter of fact, the two truck loads that I have setup already are going to the Sand Mountain area in Dekalb county Al. They will help Fyffe, AL, Rainsville,AL, Sylvania, AL, Henagar, AL, and Ider,AL. Far cry from Tuscaloosa and all of the media coverage.

Both of those links are the same people. They had www.toomers4tuscaloosa.com up and running from the beginning. They are just in the process of building a more comprehensive website at www.toomersfortuscaloosa.com now. It is not up yet, but should be soon.

Paypal is a pile of crap... I have spent the last 20 minutes trying to send a payment to you, B. But I haven't used my account in so long, the linked credit card is expired and it won't let me update the info from my phone.

I'll have to do it later from my laptop.
