Hello All, first time poster here long and had a few questions on tuning/re rating my 1LW 3406e engine. It’s currently set at 475 as far as my knowledge goes. I ran the the overhead on it today and looked at the injectors and they are part #1408993. Ive heard a lot of talk about “57” “58” injectors. Just curious what category my injectors fall under? Looking to add around 100hp or so. I’ve read that the older 40 pin ECMs can be hard to tune and sometimes you ruin them trying to tune/re rate them. And idea what the best route to go would be to get another 100hp or so? Thanks!

I’m from Wisconsin. Is it possible to even put an older pre low nox file flash into the ecm? I’ve read it’s difficult to get those older flash files to upload once a newer low nox files has been uploaded.

Hi I'm Costa Rica
I own a 475Hp 1750 torq 3406E 1LW 25991
The question is: Does this engine has a Low Nox in the ECM already?
If so does this files cause to derate the hp while driving?
Long story short: The truck sometimes feels and shows good power 30psi on turbo but sometimes it only gets 22psi no matter what I do or how I drive it...
Infrared gun shows 140° fuel temp on the tank surface
No check engine light on
6999 trim codes installed
A bit of black smoke
New turbo
I haven't measured fuel pressure yet
Thanks from Costa Rica
Stay safe,be safe,drive hard...
