I’ve done my three months with swift and I’m headed back to the oilfield (paying training out of pocket won’t hurt once I start making oil money again).
Thing is there’s a pretty big scratch on the passenger side door and the steps have a dent. Don’t think it was me but who knows.
What’s the likelihood I’ll have to pay out of pocket for repairs when I turn in my keys?
Turning in my truck with minor damage.

Unless you signed something beforehand saying you have to pay for damages or deductible, they cant do much about it. You should be fine.
-
Now for really outrageous damage they can fire you for cause.Tall_boy Thanks this. -
KillingTime, Lepton1, Woodys and 4 others Thank this.

Didn't you fill out the damage report when they assigned you the truck? I did every time they gave me another truck.
If you didn't put the damage on it, they will say you did it and claim you didn't file an accident report. Which they will fire you. But since you are quitting it won't matter unless you come backNavigatorWife and TripleSix Thank this. -
Not meaning to sound like a buster, but...
NEXT TIME anyone issues you anything to drive, anything at all, be it semi or company pickup, inspect it, note any damage and take pics. Not doing so is you putting yourself at risk for claims and difficulty on the next job.
