Today I broke my hard contact lens. My eye doctor is located out west and now I live back east and now that I’ve switched jobs, I doubt my insurance has kicked in.
I really don’t want to stop driving because I really can’t afford to be out of work again when it already took me two months of I paid work to get to this stage and that drained me.
I’m just in a hard situation and just venting.
Ugghhh more frustration….

Can you go to the Dollar store and use some of their cheap glasses?
I know if I broke my glasses, it wouldn't be fun, but it would work.Catmando and M22 rockcrusher Thank this. -
When I used contacts(many decades ago) I had a pair of glasses as a spare. Some days just didn’t want to screw around with the contacts, just quicker to toss on the glasses.

Go to Walmart or Sam's Club and try on some reading glasses. They're cheap if you decide to buy a pair.
