Ultrashift (freightliner smartshift) Not going into gear after clutch replacement

The reason for it not unlocking is that when the engine was out we sent the clutch out to be resurfaced, the intermediate plate had to be removed, unlike any other clutch where you could resurface install and drive, once this clutch is disassembled in anyway it becomes useless. Thats what Eaton explained to me. So after spending $125 on a resurface on a what was a working clutch Im going to have to spend the $689 on a new clutch from the dealer. I wish I could find it somewhere else other than the dealer but I havent seen anyone sell the DM Ultrashift clutch but freightliner

 

After looking at a Ultrashift clutch at the dealer I found out when mine was resurfaced it was done as a 3 pedal autoshift (pads were thicker) I retured the disks to be fixed installed yesterday and it works. Alittle sticky but fine. Those are some really thin clutch disks
