Newbie here looking for anyone who currently/previously worked for URS. I was recommended to get my experience and training with them because they take new CDL drivers with at least 6months driving history. I just want some information abut the company and process of being hired. By the way I live in NJ

By the way I live in NJ and when I called United I was told there is a HUB here in NEwark, NJ but the training is 4 weeks in Michigan. Its up to the manager if I am allowed to train in NJ

You will stay busy there but being new to the industry it might be hard for you to make a really good living at it. The freight up there is mostly local which means you need to bump off a few loads a day. If not you are working chump change and won't be worth your time.
