    Hello all,

So I was reviewing my IRP or cab card and noticed my unladen weight states 12500. After reading around it seems this weight is supposed to be the unloaded weight of the truck not the GVWR or anything close to it. Either way it seems to be off as my trucks GVWR is 14000.

Is my cab card incorrect? My truck’s a crew cab Ram 3500.

    Thanks.

I think its the unladen weight of the combination of your truck + trailer.

That section is right next to “unladen weight” it’s GCWR.

Yea I was wrong, just pulled up the cab card from my old ram and trailer setup and it shows unladen weight as 8544 and max gross weight as 38,000.

Maybe it depends on how each State prints it up. Mine says the same as yours does..

That’s what I thought and what seems to be correct per the IRP manual instructions. Seems my tag place just did whatever the heck they wanted.

I truly appreciate you going to check this.
