Depending on the State where your employer HQ is located, they may or may not have given the reason for your dismissal to company’s wanting to verify your employment.
My guess is your termination for an egregious violation of company policy.
My question: why is the ‘side box’ part of an inspection? Granted, I have driven a ‘sleeper’ maybe a total of 6hrs over my whole career.

OOIDA sued over the refrigerator searches. Those DOT clowns were even taking pre-made sandwiches apart in case drugs were hidden in the sandwiches. If I remember correctly the sandwich inspection was near Brownsville, Tennessee.

Some places will look in the sleeper just to see if anything was in the truck that wasn't supposed to be. Ohio is one place that checks everything from top to bottom. They checked my side box at the Girard scale on 80.

OP, I think you're in a pickle here. I cannot say for sure if Climate Express will hire you with those circumstances.Try anyway. I've been there over 3 years now, they may consider you. Put the application in and give them a call....I'll PM you the information necessary.
