I missed it this year because my knee isn't 100% yet. I've only been back to work for 2 weeks now after 10 months off. Walking around that much would have killed my knee but I won't miss it next year. It's been growing every year and looks like a lot of cool iron showed up.
SmallPackage and ElmerFudpucker Thank this. -
I saw that needle nose Pete with the bull wagon in town Friday afternoon and it was so amazing.

Yes. We had 81 trucks show up. Almost 30 with a trailer. Logistics were bad this year with the heavy harvest we been doing. Our ‘71 359 was still in the field so we couldn’t haul the Diamond T there, my ‘65 White is still in pieces, and a friend of ours that usually drives the ‘72 White is going in for back surgery so he didn't have the strength for that this year. We were a one truck chuck this year.
Cool thing was I had a handful of old timers that recognized my uncles ‘67 351 and had some wild stories about running cattle up to Montana and out west back in the late 60’s on up thru the late 70’s with him. Many things I didn’t know. Hauling out of feet lots for Bill Miller B-B-Q was one of them.Oxbow, Sons Hero and Texasgordo Thank this. -
‘69 steel cab with ‘80 359 corvette dash aka Dash of Class. On a 1996 379 chassis with 3406E Cat. Titled as a 1969. It is very well done.Oxbow, Sons Hero and Texasgordo Thank this.

Wow that's pretty cool. Glad it's still out there working for us to admire.

I used to see this one hauling grain locally and I'm pretty sure it's also on a modern chassis. Used to see it often but I think the owner is running a 359 daycab now.Oxbow Thanks this. -
That one is a ‘62. Has a Big Cam 1 in it. Original frame from front bumper to mid ship. 1970’s Air Leaf cut off midship back. Did a few million pulling drywall and plywood from east Tejas to Hart lumber in S.A. He still uses it for grain, but like you think he has been running their 359 lately.Oxbow and Texasgordo Thank this.
