Less rushing, less inside deliveries(good riddance staples) More automatics, more fun.

    i never addressed this.

There are plenty of O/O's when i go to other terminals doing linehaul. There are lots O/O's bringing in and out 53' trailers at my terminal. The O/O program seems good (for the O/O's, not necessarily for us employee drivers) That is all i know right now.

    What's been going on lately:

Job is more fun and laidback. Becoming a consistent steady, fun laidback way to make money. Except for last Friday where i had to do some rushing; More stops than usual and 4 appointments of which i was late for 2, but they still took em. Still fun, but less fun than M-Th, because of the rushing.

Thought of the day/what's been going on lately:

MICROMANAGMENT IS BETTER THAN POOR "MANAGEMENT."

We're getting a lot of , "What's taking so long at this stop etc.?" Meanwhile the customer a) can't be located, b) When located they can't decide where to put it and/or can't figure out who ordered it etc. or C) It's an inside delivery with no help and cars parked in the way etc.

But, trust me, micromanagement is MUCH better than poor "management."

Everything is still all of a sudden laid back with little to no rushing except on Fridays (for some reason). Really become laidback M-Th. i will take dispatcher on my arse rushing ME vs. actual rushing. Because the managers are only doing this make their numbers. But it's not actual rushing in traffic, at stops etc.

Rushin' Rabbit = Laid back, go with the flow rabbit.

    Will post checks asap

i'll post my final W-2's shortly, but so far the total is coming up as $60,890 and i'm not totally happy with this number. This number is not finalized yet.

Now, i will say that i worked LESS hours than last year and it's becoming MUCH less stressful and virtually no rushing anymore.

    2) ALSO
i just noticed that I"M NOT uttering words that start with F or S or MF or SH or DH for virtually the entire past few weeks! This, i've always felt, is a good gauge to determine whether a job is stressful or not.

i think saying those words multiple times per hour was so subconcienciously ingrained into me over the past few years that i did not notice, until this morning, that i've stopped

So, i am somewhat happy with the whole situation as the large picture and will generally take it.
