NET $0.88 is nice, would set some for truck repairs.
SNI/LSTR dryvan about $0.78-0.82(with $2800/mo new truck/midwest/E. region)
New truck lease expense: (2800/mo x 12) / 120000mi = $0.28/mi
I might consider UPS, for the benefits of being home more often, I'm already running at OD, sleeping from 2pm-9pm at $0.56/mi.
How many years experience UPS needed to apply as owner op, FSC at 100%?

Most of the time you are running through the night. Weekend loads you get to run somewhat normal hours, but for the most part loads are ready 1400 to later. They have been replacing the old junkielbasa trailers with brand new ones. It's nice it's been a while since I have pulled a POS trailer, as far as fsc it's calculated each week 19 cpm right now. But we get a good 30 to 45 cents off a gallon depending on wherected you fuel. Most of the time your under 30k lbs for the load so there light.
Josh_ Thanks this. -

What terminal are you out of
when you want to go home do they dispatch you back to your home terminal
and how much time do you need to give them to get home -
I'm out of Jacksonville, fl. Yes you return to your home terminal when you come home. They ask for 7 days notice so they can work you into position to return. So far I have never been late always home the day I ask for or the day before.

Lyle,
Two questions:
- tractor has to be specific color?
- you mind sharing monthly expense for truck insurance, and the company.
Appreciate you given us the insight/knowledge about UPS. Thanks!!!Last edited: Oct 21, 2015
